How to Update a Load in Loadshop

Loadshop makes it easy to keep shipment statuses current. Updating loads promptly ensures your customer knows where freight is and helps keep invoices moving through the payment process without delay.

Step 1 – Go to the Booked Tab

  • From your Loadshop dashboard, open the Booked tab.
  • You’ll see all booked loads that still require status updates.
  • Click the Status button to the right of the load you want to update.

Step 2 – Update Pickup & Final Stop Fields

Complete the required status fields for both the Pickup Stop and Final Stop.

Pickup Stop:

  • Appointment time (if needed)
  • ETA to Shipper
  • Arrived at Shipper
  • Departed Shipper

Final Stop:

  • Appointment time (if needed)
  • ETA to Delivery
  • Arrived at Consignee
  • Departed Delivery

Tip: Click the calendar icon to select a date and ensure you use the local time for each location.

When all fields are complete, click Send Statuses.

Step 3 – Add In-Transit Updates

(Optional but Recommended)

Keeping in-transit information current improves visibility for all parties:

  • Enter the date and time
  • Enter your driver’s current location
  • Click Send Status

Step 4 – Complete Your Update

Once all required fields are submitted, your load will continue through the invoicing process.
